UTILITY POLICIES AND FORMS

The City of Montrose no longer allows water bills to be put in the name of tenants.  Therefore, we collect the water bill amount in addition to rent each month and we pay the water bills on behalf of the owner.  You must call the office or check your tenant account through our tenant portal to see how much your water bill amount will be each month. All other utilities for the property must be transferred into the tenant's name on or before the tenant move-in date.  Please download the form below and contact the appropriate utilities to complete the utility transfers.  Then bring this completed form with your new account numbers back to the office on or before your move-in date.
